We are a small, family owned, operation offering registered American Blackbelly sheep breeding stock and American Blackbelly cross, pasture raised without hormones or steroids, freezer lamb. Blackbelly sheep are hair sheep with no wool, natural parasite resistance, and good mothering instincts. Very easy keepers. “Blackbelly meat is unsurpassed by other red meats, low in cholesterol but high in protein, making it a very healthful choice. Very mild flavored and very lean with no mutton taste, even in 2-year-old rams” (Barbados Blackbelly Sheep Association International, 2003).
